France has manufactured luminous tube transformers for over a half century. They are committed to engineering their products to conform to the special needs of the sign industry. That commitment is the foundation of France's tradition of quality and reliability. All France transformers are UL Listed and CSA approved unless otherwise noted in the France catalog. In early 2007, France enhanced the diagnostic features of the Secondary Ground Fault Interruption circuitry in the P5G-2 line of transformers and introduced them as the P5G-2E line. These changes should significantly improve your ability to diagnose installation problems – especially for difficult installations that have intermittent problems. The label on the new transformers describes new fault code information.
Note: The "G" designation in the catalog # has been added to distinguish models compliant with UL2161 and Article 600 of the 1996 National Electrical Code.
